Structural Engineer Apprenticeship
We are seeking an enthusiastic learner with a strong curiosity about exploring innovative approaches to engineering. Join us as a Structural Engineering Apprentice! You'll gain hands-on experience and training while assisting with tasks like technical design of structural elements.
Criteria:
● Education: Currently studying for a degree in structural engineering or a related field.
● Skills: Basic understanding of structural design principles, with a strong willingness to learn and apply technical skills.
● Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.
● Availability: Able to work in our London office at least 3 days a week.
Key Stakeholders:
The engineer will be reporting to the company director directly.
Key Responsibilities:
● Calculations for load takedown, stability and elements sizes
● Calculation package for the local authority approval
● Carry out site visits
● Drawings production and checking with the CAD technicians
● Timesheet recording
● Email correspondences with the clients and design teams
● Structural sketches for the preliminary design and tender details
